God Loves Broken People
The other side of brokenness
“If I could write only one book in my lifetime,” Sheila Walsh says, “I would ask God to make it this one.”
Sheila’s 2012 Women of Faith messages are built around the concepts in God Loves Broken People. Now you have the opportunity to get a taste of her topic even before the event! The book includes a twelve-section Bible study (one for each chapter) so you can dig into the Word with a group or on your own.
In typical Sheila fashion, she promises not to “offer you a nice, tidy system of belief that heals all wounds, brings out the sunshine, or inspires the angels to thunder the Hallelujah Chorus.” Instead, in twelve stirring, insightful, and deeply revealing chapters, Sheila shows how personal brokenness can open doors of intimacy with Jesus Christ that might never open in any other way.
It’s not that God loves broken people more than those who imagine themselves to be whole―it’s simply that they know they are loved. They dare to believe it . . . and through such trust, a new wholeness emerges from yesterday’s broken pieces.
Find your way to the other side of brokenness with God Loves Broken People.

Comment by Beth Ann Coleman on April 10, 2012 at 12:48pm I as well was suprised to not see much input on the site. I'm not a major reader of literature, but I do like to follow the women of faith book selections. My father's girlfriend meets with a group of women monthly to have coffee and discuss their book of selection for the month. I thought how nice so I joined this club. My husband gave me a kindle fire for a Christmas gift, which I'm so enjoying. Anyhow, I read the Februay book "This Thing of Ours". What a powerful example of committement. Currently in a Women's Bible Study "The Excellent Wife" and it has provided much support to this study and my marriage of faith and committment. Look forward to more book selections.

Comment by Ellie Morffi on April 9, 2012 at 2:27pm I have also been disappointed that there is no activity on the book club site. I am currently still reading the March book club pick. I posted about the Feb. pick which was excellent. Let's keep it going.
Comment by Kim sweet on April 9, 2012 at 12:31pm Tanya I am certainly interested
Comment by Tanya Dandurand on April 9, 2012 at 11:55am Christina, I have read it months back when incourage did their book club reading on the book. Finishing up a Kelly Minter book, The Fitting Room right now. I am wanting to go back & reread What Women Fear & was excited when I saw it was the book of the month here, I have never done the book club here.
I admit I was disappointed when I logged in & did not find much activity anywhere on the site.
I would like to read it & share with others... anyone else interested?
I have What Women Fear on my kindle...has anyone started it yet?

I am so excited about the three ladies who are the recipients of my new devotional book: Nicole Matustani, Chritina Geiger, and Heather Van Vliet. My hope and prayer is that God ministers to each of you richly through every daily devotion. May each of your hearts be filled with His love.
"Stay encouraged! Stay motivated! Stay close to God!"
